Practitioner ID access

A Practitioner ID is required to create ContributionShift-LIVE Facilitated Multi-User Game sessions.

Practitioners can now self-register for a trial Practitioner ID online. The trial includes five facilitated sessions.

Use the ID in the Facilitation Console to create sessions
Give participants only the generated session code
Request a licence when the five trial sessions are used

How to self-register for a Practitioner ID and start a facilitated session

The Practitioner ID is used by the facilitator to create facilitated sessions. Participants do not need a Practitioner ID; they only need the session code created by the facilitator.

Generate your trial Practitioner ID.
Open the self-serve Practitioner ID signup page and enter your name, email, organisation, country and intended use.
Save your Practitioner ID.
The page will create a trial Practitioner ID with five facilitated trial sessions. If the email address has already been used, the existing ID for that email may be returned rather than creating a new trial.
Open the Facilitation Console.
Go to the ContributionShift-LIVE Facilitation Console and enter your Practitioner ID when prompted.
Create a new session.
Use the console to create a new facilitated session. The console will generate a session code for participants.
Give the session code to participants.
Participants open ContributionShift-LIVE, choose Multiplayer / Facilitated Mode, and enter the session code. They should never enter the Practitioner ID.
Request a licence for ongoing use.
When the five trial sessions are used, request a licence by emailing support@contributionshift.online with your Practitioner ID, organisation, expected use and approximate session volume.

Using the Facilitated Multi-User Game

ContributionShift-LIVE can be used as a facilitated leadership simulation where multiple participants experience the same organisational situation from different roles.

The facilitator self-registers for a trial Practitioner ID
The facilitator controls the shared session from the web console
Participants join from the app using only the session code
Each round produces feedback that can be debriefed with the group
The session can support leadership, culture, capability and organisational-development conversations

What is Contribution Shift?

Are Mentor Credits still needed?

No. Mentor Credits are no longer needed for current Contribution Shift use. For support questions, app help, or facilitated game access, email support@contributionshift.online.

Do I need a Practitioner ID?

You only need a Practitioner ID if you want to run the ContributionShift-LIVE Facilitated Multi-User Game as a practitioner or facilitator. Participants joining a facilitated session do not need a Practitioner ID.

How do I get a Practitioner ID?

Can I use Contribution Shift across my iPhone and iPad?

Yes. Contribution Shift is designed to support use across devices. If something does not look right, contact support and include the devices you are using.
